Date(s) - 06/26/2018
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
The emerging Digitally Connected World will significantly disrupt the traditional role of FM. BIM supported platforms in the cloud, will host fully immersive global real estate facility networks in the form of a “Virtual 3D” data base. Virtual facilities will be GIS pinned to “google-earth” style enterprise networks, that are user friendly and accessed from hand held devices. Data updates in real time will occur through crowd sourced portals. Operations & Management queries will be supported by live data instantly. This live interactive “Virtual Facility” data base will enable completely new ways to manage existing facility assets and will inform new asset development. Leveraging parametric 3D Digital Data Models will be a “game changer”.
